Accessibility Statement for Mille Fleurs Website

This is an accessibility statement from Mille Fleurs Restaurant.
 

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to view our menus, find our hours, contact us, and plan a visit, regardless of how they browse the web. We review the accessibility of millefleurs.com and correct issues as we find them.
 

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Mille Fleurs Website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
 

How we assessed this site

This statement is based on a review of all pages of millefleurs.com, most recently updated in August 2026. The review combined automated testing with manual inspection, and covered image alternative text, heading structure, form labelling, keyboard navigation, page landmarks, language identification, colour contrast, and text sizing.
 

What currently meets the standard

The following were verified across every page of the site:

  • Every image carries alternative text

  • Every form field has a visible, correctly associated label

  • Colour contrast meets the AA threshold on all measured text

  • Headings follow a logical order on every page, with a single main heading per page

  • Each page identifies its language

  • A "Skip to Main Content" link is available to keyboard users

  • Page regions are marked up so assistive technology can navigate between them

  • Embedded content is labelled

  • Body text is set at 16 pixels or larger
     

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. Below is a list of known issues, and what we are doing about them.
 

  • Email sign-up window. A third-party email sign-up window used on part of our site does not manage keyboard focus the way a dialog should, and cannot be closed with the Escape key. We have restricted where it appears while we resolve this with the vendor.
     

  • Interface text size. Some button labels and form field labels are set slightly below 16 pixels. Text can be enlarged using your browser's zoom without loss of content or function.
     

  • Third-party content. Reservations are handled by OpenTable on their own website. Once you leave millefleurs.com we do not control the accessibility of that service.
     

Compatibility

This site is designed to work with current versions of major browsers, and with screen readers and other assistive technology used alongside them. It may not work as well with browsers or assistive technology that are several versions out of date.
