Memo / Press Release
To all of our Staff, Patrons, and Friends,
In light of the relentless progress of COVID-19, we have come to the conclusion that there is only one decision to make. At a time like this, we are all given an opportunity to be bigger than our business, bigger than the bottom line, and to be the leaders that we have always strived to be in the face of our biggest challenge yet.
Today, hospitality has taken on a new meaning. Now, to “take care of each other” is to protect our entire community to the best of our ability and not add to the problem. In light of the developments of the last few days, we will be closing both Mister A’s and Mille Fleurs temporarily beginning Monday March 16th for a period of two weeks, and tentatively re-opening on Monday, March 30th, depending on the pace and progress of the outbreak.
For a combined 90 years, our restaurants have strived to be a part of San Diego’s history, fondest memories, and vast dining landscape. We look forward to continuing this journey with all of you as soon as we are able to reopen for regular service with safety and integrity for our staff and guests, alike.
Thank you for your understanding and friendship through this difficult time. Be safe, San Diego.
